Bridgestone's New Balls (and Puck)

Goal: Bridgestone Tire launched a major new ad campaign during the 2012 NHL Winter Classic.  On their facebook page, they are showcasing a series of new advertisements, which started running during the lead up to the Super Bowl and were featured around their sponsorship of the halftime show.  The basic theme of these commercials is an exploration of using their “tire technology to 'revolutionize' the performance of sports through the introduction of new balls (and puck).”  The unintentional consequences from the technology will revolutionize sports as we know it.

Solution: We worked tirelessly with Bridgestone in transforming their tread designs into the different shapes and manufacturing them into regulation size promotional products for this launch to highlight their newest technologies.  As part of the promotional package, parsonsKellogg is producing and supplying the individual products, that being the football, basketball and puck.  These are being displayed at Bridgestone's locations across America, and at major sporting events like the NHL's Winter Classic, Super Bowl and other events like March Madness, the NCAA basketball tournament. Foam replica give away products are also being supplied and fulfilled by parsonsKellogg.

Result: This is an ongoing campaign with the outcome still pending.  You can see the commercials below or on Bridgestone's facebook page or at  www.Bridgestonetire.com
